Our vibrant school, housed in a light-filled building, is tucked into a residential district in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. Our faculty are experienced Waldorf educators committed to anthroposophically inspired education, the needs of today's youth and growing a strong school community. Island Oak High School offers foreign exchanges and welcomes home-stay students. The Cowichan Valley has a strong anthroposophical community including therapists, biodynamic farmers and a Camphill community.

Vancouver Island offers soul-nourishing beauty at every turn. The abundant lakes, rivers, oceans and wilderness are easily accessible providing recreational opportunities for all interests. The Cowichan Valley offers rural living at its best: ready access to locally grown food and wine, nightly live music and/or theatre and culturally diverse, generally left leaning, environmentally concerned neighbours. The cities of Victoria and Vancouver are near the Cowichan Valley and Duncan.
